Myrtos Beach is definitely the most iconic beach in Kefalonia, and often listed as one of the best beaches in Greece. It is our favourite beach on the island, and one of our favourite beaches in the world! The dramatic limestone cliffs steep down to the bright white sand and even brighter blue ocean, it’s seriously one of the prettiest places we’ve ever seen.
The traditional architecture, the peaceful landscape and the pebbled beaches compose the natural beauty of Assos. A stroll around the narrow alleys reveals colorful houses with pink and white blooms, lovely paths and old churches. Little taverns perched on the quayside overlooking the bay attract most of the visitors.
Famous all over the world as the mythical island of Odysseus, Ithaca is probably the most remarkable island of Greek mythology! Apart from its mythical essence, though, Ithaca Greece boasts an incredible beauty. Its laid-back character, emerald waters and lush greenery make it one of the heavenly Greek islands for those who seek relaxation.
